I have tried to make many games in my life. Here, I will present some of the more valiant attempts.

Duck Dungeon Descape

A game about a duck escaping from a dungeon and my first venture into 2d-platformers. Features include

  • Proof of concept for a metroidvania-style upgrade system.
  • A rating of your playstyle after every completed level, depending on time and collectible score.
  • A sound based stealth/attention system that lets you interact with NPCs by quacking at them from different directions

High Moon

A visual novel/point and click game about the feeling of going to a strange new place using a public transport system you don’t understand. Playtime ~30 mins. I made this before I discovered Ren’Py, and so I built a custom text display system that integrates with Twine.

I do not recommend that approach for visual novel development.

Mnemonic/Demonic

(unfinished)

A game about being a life coach/matchmaker for demons. Visual novel style reverse dating simulator game with RPG elements.

Murder on the Insect Express: A Cicada Christie Story

(unreleased, working on companion project)

A game about being an insect detective and solving a tiny murder case. Visual novel style detective puzzle game.
